Silk Road Rising would like to introduce the award winning Egyptian American playwright Yussef El Guindi to the Egyptian American community in Chicago and the Midwest. Yussef has emerged as an important force in American theatre and is doing extraordinary work sharing the stories of Arab Americans for American audiences. He is an incredibly talented writer who crafts plays that really bring people and communities together.
You are hereby invited to attend a special Egyptian Night staged reading of Yussef’s new play THE MUMMY & THE REVOLUTION on Saturday, July 14. This is a special night for Chicago and MIdwest Egyptians and their friends and families to enjoy the reading, meet the author and engage in a post-show discussion.
