Purpose: the purpose of the Community Service program is to lead EAD members and volunteers in participating in local community events in Chicago and surrounding suburbs.
Description: the program serves as the community engagement arm of EAD, by recruiting and developing an active list of interested volunteers to participate in local community service events around Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Events will include those of interest to the Egyptian, and Arab communities as well as general events within the mission and vision of EAD.
The program is organized to develop relationships with local organizations and institutions to provide volunteers with exciting community service opportunities in a safe and productive environment.
